It’s our favorite time of year and we are ready to start grill-gating with all of the Football fans out there! Whether you are cheering on your favorite college team or your number one National team… having the perfect recipe for your tailgating get-together will make you a #GrillGatingHero

We always shop our neighborhood Walmart to pick up exactly what we need to make our College Football tailgating parties a success! Our go-to’s that get us through the Fall Football season are Dr Pepper®, Kingsford® Charcoal, Glad Press’n Seal and RITZ® Crackers.

My hubby’s favorite food to snack on during Football season is Steak Fajita tacos. Check out my easy recipe below and the best way to have delicious Steak Fajitas off the grill! We always make sure to pick up a bag of Kingsford® Charcoal because it gives our food the best BBQ taste!

Dr Pepper is another must have at our grilling football get-togethers. Our two favorites are the Original and Cherry flavors. It goes great with our Steak Fajitas Tacos. You can also be part of the Football Grill-Gating fun this season with Emmitt Smith. He’s sharing his grilling tips and is challenging everyone to share their grilling photos and experiences with him for a chance to be featured on the grill-gating website! Make sure to use the hashtags #GrillGating and #GrillGatingHero on Twitter and Instagram so that they can find your photos!

  1. Place your fajita steak in a tray and pour a generous amount of seasoning on each side. Cut (1) lime in half and squeeze the lime on the both sides of the Fajita and let it marinate for a few hours. You can even do this the night before and store it in the refrigerator.
  2. Slice Onions and Green Pepper and sprinkle it with the Fajita seasoning. Place the veggies in foil and cook them separately on the grill.
  3. Grill the marinated Fajitas to your liking and enjoy!
Recipe Notes

If you don't have Fajita seasoning on hand. Just mix together, garlic powder, salt and pepper and it will come out great!

Enjoy!

We love to pair it with our favorite Dr Pepper and RITZ Crackers and create the perfect mix for our tailgating festivities. My tween daughter loves helping me in the kitchen any chance she gets, she found a easy and fun recipe on the back of the RITZ Cracker box that is perfect for football season. So we made that it and added it to our menu.

Once the fun is over we store away the leftovers with our Glad Press’n Seal, it keeps everything fresh and makes clean up so easy.
