I’m going to make my “Get Fit” moment last a lifetime! For a year I’ve been working towards this goal, losing 35 lbs. but still pushing… It’s been a long-lifetime struggle for me constantly going up and down for years! I wish I could just go on 1 diet and lose weight, but there’s so much more to it than just that. One important thing is to start and if you stop for a few days or weeks…Start Again!
I started with eating better, healthier choices, leaner meats, more water…. Lots More! Now don’t get me wrong. I have my cheat days, but I don’t go overboard. I’m actually satisfied with having that one slice of pizza, or my strawberry margaritas (Yummy) from time to time. But my overall daily intake is fruits and veggies. I discovered green smoothies, I drink them every morning and they are GOOD, no really they are! I do the “10 Day Green Smoothie Cleanse” by J.J. Smith, she is absolutely wonderful, I follow her on social media and her tips and motivation are awesome! I also drink a daily water detox throughout my workday, it consist of water, cucumbers, mint leaves and strawberries, and if you really want to step it up add a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar… WOW!
Get that workout in! I take the stairs, I park my car far from the door at work… whatever I can to get that extra workout time in. I try to go the gym at least 2-3 times per week but even more recently, I started doing high intensity Pilates… It’s an 8 minute workout, I do it 3-4 times in the morning, it really gets me going and my muscles are up and burning calories all day long!!! It strengthens your core and gives you shape….You can’t beat that!
The best part of living a healthier lifestyle is that your happier, you feel better, you look better!!! It’s all a work in progress, so start including those small changes into your everyday routine so that your Get Fit goals becomes your Get Fit lifestyle!
