5 Instagram Worthy Spots in Detroit!

During my recent trip to Detroit this Summer, I noticed so much colorful art popping up around the city! You can literally drive through downtown and find murals and artwork that give Detroit an updated look! I partnered with Chevy to enjoy my sightseeing adventures in the Motor City. This fully loaded Chevy Silverado was a great fit and we had a blast visiting all of our favorite spots!

What I love about the artwork that I found is that it was created from local, national and international artists. There was so much meaning and inspiration in many of the pieces! One of the first places I noticed most of newest artwork was downtown at The BELT. Its basically a stretch of alley that sits between two parking garages that has been renovated into culturally inspired space!

The Belt is funded by Bedrock Detroit and you can find small plaques on the wall that share more information about the artist and the inspiration of the artwork!

At night, you can find The Belt jumping with people visiting the bars, restaurants and just strolling the alley of artwork!

Detroit Art

This was actually one of my favorite spots! You can spend a good amount of time here getting some very Instagram worthy pictures with the murals on display. This area is the outside of the parking garages that The Belt is in between. You can find inspirational and colorful messages displayed on each level of the parking structure!

I truly appreciate the hard work it took to create some of this art, most are entire buildings and that definitely took a lot if time and planning! You can see some great inspirational pieces while driving through the major freeways of Detroit.
