I’m can definitely say we are not ready for Back to School especially since my daughter is starting high school! Can we just freeze time for little bit! (insert crying emoji here). So if you have a teenager then you know their nerves are on high and not knowing what to expect can be scary. We wanted to put together a list of the things that will make the school days go by fast and keep them on track. Even though these items are displayed in more girly colors, you can pick out these same items for the teen boys in your life!

One of the new rules at my daughters High School is they must have a clear backpack. Although she was not happy about it, she understands that its for safety reasons! Thank goodness Amazon has a great selection of clear backpacks, its such a great buy since most of the sporting venues require clear bags in order to attend an event! But it’s also great for traveling and still being able to finish their assignments! You would be surprised how many students do their homework assignments online. My daughter turned in most of her assignments during middle school through Google Classroom. We love our roll-up keyboard, and it comes in lots of colors!

You have to get one even for fun…. most are priced under $20 and are well worth it!

Even though this isn’t something that will go with your teen to school, this is a great way to keep them on track with taking care of their assignments and chores. If you saw my Teen Summer Checklist that we did over the summer, it really worked out great! So I picked up a flexible magnetic dry erase board, I’m planning on using a reward type of system so that she will be accountable for her responsibilities.

One thing I dislike about water bottles is when they don’t have narrow mouthpiece to drink from. The fact that this one does puts it right on top of my back to school list since we live in Texas too.

I think the weekly planner is a MUST! We used to get them free in middle school and high school and I think that’s why I was so organized!
