Easy Make-up Brush Cleaning Tips!

I’m so glad that I came across these easy make-up brush cleaning tips! I’ve seen the fancy brush cleaners on Instagram and I thought I needed one at first, but after doing some research I found out how easy it is to keep your brushes & beauty blenders clean!

All you need:

Natural White Soap and Warm Water.

I like to use Dove because its unscented and hypoallergenic so it’s really perfect to clean your brushes with and get all the bacteria out! I did get a great tip from my girl Roxy in Houston that sprays a little olive oil on her brushes before cleaning. This is great for getting the heavy caked on makeup that is on the waterproof brushes! The olive oil will help get those brushes clean!

Here are the steps I follow:

Make sure to apply pressure and squeeze the beauty sponge repeatedly until the water is clear.

Your beauty sponge and brushes will go back to it’s regular pretty colors!

Check out the video below to see all the brushes I cleaned and how they all came out!

  9. I want to get my daughter some new makeup brushes because hers are starting to look old and beat up. I think making sure she keeps them clean could be a good way to ensure they don’t wear out so quickly. Showing her these tips could be great because we don’t have a cleaning kit so using a bar of soap would be practical.
